KIMBLE, Albert D., 88, of Rodriguez Lane, Moundsville, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 14, 1924 in Littleton, WV, the son of the late Edward and Norine Fordyce Kimble.
He was a retired chemist with Allied and Olin Chemicals, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and a member of Cedar Avenue Church of Christ where he served as an elder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin, George, John, and Wayne Kimble; and a half brother, Vaun Newell.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Joanne Kimble; two daughters, Diana (Ron) Watson of Harbinger, NC and Lisa (James) Baker of Poplar Branch, NC; a son, Donald (Natalie) Kimble of Loveland, CO; a sister, Mary Lou (Harlan) Pelley of Glen Dale; eight grandchildren, Phil Watson, Sheena Floyd, Derek Baker, Steven Kimble, Theresa Kimble, Stephanie Krall, Charlie Nasworthy and Kalie Whited; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday from 1 until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Evang. Brian Price officiating.
Private interment will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery, Green Co., PA.
