Richard and Patricia Lash Edge of St. Clairsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Nov. 24.
They were united in marriage Nov. 24, 1962 at Warwood Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. John Shettel officiating.
Patricia Edge is the daughter of the late Robert and Sara Lash. She is retired from the Health Plan of the Upper Ohio Valley.
Edge is the son of the late Robert and Clement Edge Bates. He retired after 42 years in education as a teacher, coach and administrator.
They have three daughters. The family includes Lynn Davis and her husband, Todd, of Chesapeake,Va.; Jennifer Ragase and her husband, Dan, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Holly Edge and her husband, Jerred Attanasio, of Raleigh, N.C. They have four grandchildren.
The children honored their parents with a celebration in Raleigh on their anniversary.
