ST. MARYS - Coleen McCormick scored a game-high 31 points behind 13 of 14 shooting from the foul line as Wheeling Central (11-1) handed St. Marys its first loss of the season, 57-53, in prep girls' basketball action Monday night.
Audra Clark led the Blue Devils (11-1) with 19 points while MiKaela Britton and Abby Fetty each had 10.
Maroon Knight's Emily Bucon left the game during the second period with a knee injury. Her status is uncertain.
