HOHMAN, Mary Catherine "Kay," 78, of Triadelphia, W.Va., died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born March 18, 1934, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter to the late Clement and Anna Catherine (Weiskircher) Frohnapfel. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wheeling. She was also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Rosary Altar Society, and assisted with the funeral luncheons and the Lenten fish fry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Thomas Frohnapfel; and one sister, Betty Ann Boyd.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harry A. Hohman; eight children, Karen (Rick) Noll of Wheeling, Mark Hohman of Wheeling, Jeffrey (Robin) Hohman of Triadelphia, Christine (Howard) Minch of Triadelphia, Amy (Tony) Torres of Chicopee, Mass., Barbara (Ray) Eichenlaub of Chicago, Ill., Susan Hinerman of Columbus, Ohio, and David (Angela) Hohman of Cranberry Township, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday, January 15, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Gary P. Naegele as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
