WINTERSVILLE- Dan Monteroso scored 40 points, collected 10 rebounds and blocked four shots, and Riley Carlton hit a pair of key fourth-quarter hoops as St. Clairsville, Ohio's sixth-ranked Division II club, earned a 66-55 victory Tuesday night against Indian Creek.
Monteroso scored his team's last seven points and 26 of his 40 in the second half. Carlton finished with 10 points for the Red Devils (9-1). St. Clairsville had 23 rebounds and committed eight turnovers.
Shane Winland paced Creek (9-4) in scoring with 17. Frankie Kamarec added 16 and Alex Young 14.
