CONNORVILLE - Cori Medley scored 13 of her 18 points during a 20-8, fourth-quarter run as she led Union Local past Buckeye Local, 47-34, in girls' basketball action Thursday.
Kayla Doty added 17 points, including a 9 of 12 performance from the charity stripe, where the Jets (12-4) were 17-for-25. Buckeye Local didn't attempt a free throw.
Alexis Valuska, Kayla Fillipovich and Lauren Swiger all scored eight points for Buckeye Local. Fillipovich also pulled down a dozen rebounds as the Panthers led 35-31 off the glass. Doty grabbed seven for Union Local.
