BANKER, Megan, 55, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born August 8, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of Reba Powell Banker and the late Alan Banker.
Megan was an attorney with the Belmont County Common Pleas Court and previously with the Prosecutor's Office. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Ohio State University and her Law Degree from the Capitol University Law School.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Reba Banker of Shadyside, Ohio are her son, Samuel Banker of Shadyside, Ohio and her brother, Alan (Paula) Banker of Bellaire, Ohio. Also one niece, Rachael Banker, one nephew, Andrew Banker, two aunts and uncles, Sue and Court Stewart of Steubenville, Ohio and Gwen and Jim Jackson of Columbus, Ohio and numerous cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pete Walburn officiating.
