WALKER, Rose Marie, 77, of Wheeling, died Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Liza's Place.

She was born September 8, 1935, in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Henry and Creola Walters Claytor.

Rose Marie was retired from the former Moore's Lumber, was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and was an avid bingo player.

In addition to her parents, Rose Marie was preceded in death by a brother, Percy Yates.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas Walker, of Wheeling and her six children; Delores Jenkins and her husband Rodney, of Martins Ferry, Yvonne Stradwick and her husbandCornell, Greg Walker, Brian Walker, Dana Walker, all of Wheeling, Eric Walker, of Stockbridge, GA, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a special aunt, Margaret Jeffreys, of Martins Ferry, OH, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 20, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St. Wheeling.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 21st, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Cathedral with Msgr. Kevin Quirk as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Vigil services will be conducted on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
