The Brooke County Sheriff's Department is seeking the driver of a vehicle believed to have passed a vehicle that had left the home of 30-year-old Jason Lee Pratz at about 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Pratz was found dead from a gunshot wound at his Genteel Ridge Home about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Brooke County Sheriff Chuck Jackson is asking for the cooperation of a driver of a vehicle, possibly a green Ford Taurus, that was almost struck by the vehicle leaving Pratz's home as it entered W.Va. 67 from Genteel Ridge Road and turned toward Wellsburg at a high rate of speed.

Jackson stressed the driver of the green vehicle isn't a suspect in the case but is asked to contact the sheriff's department, which can be reached at 304-527-1430 or 304-737-3660.
The sheriff said he couldn't discuss other details in the ongoing investigation.
He said earlier the shooting is believed to have occurred in the late afternoon or early evening Monday.
