JANES, Warren P. "Junie," Jr., age 86, of Four Sisters Court, Moundsville, WV died Friday, February 22, 2013 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 5, 1926 in Harrison County, WV the son of the late Warren Paul and Mildred Clise Janes.

Warren was a retired claims adjuster with State farm Insurance in Wheeling and a US Army 78th Division Veteran of WWII.

He was member of the Moundsville Baptist Church; St. John's Masonic Lodge #24 AF & AM in Shinnston; a 32-degree Mason Scottish Rite - Valley of Wheeling; and the American Legion Post 31 in Shinnston.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert O. Janes; two sons-in-laws, John Maxwell and Vic Alonso; and a grandson, Shawn Wood.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Moore Janes; three daughters, Deborah Maxwell and Nancy Alonso of Lebanon, OH and Karen (Willie) Jones of Moundsville; a son, Timothy Warren Janes of Moundsville; 11 grand- children; 14 great- grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11am at the Moundsville Baptist Church, 4th and Annadale Ave. Moundsville with Rev. J. Thomas Steele officiating.

Private entombment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Moundsville Baptist Church.

Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, Moundsville.
