W&J beats Bethany again

WASHINGTON, Pa. - Despite limiting Washington & Jefferson to just three earned runs, two errors by the Bethany College baseball team damaged the Bison's hopes, as the Presidents scored a 5-1 victory Sunday afternoon in the finale of the three-game PAC series.

Josh Dow was the lone Bison to reach base twice with a single and a walk, while former Linlsy star Haydon Stanley drove in Bethany's lone run on a groundout that tied the game at 1-1.

The loss was charged to senior Ryan Styche. He worked 5 2/3 innings, allowing three runs, only one of which was earned, on three hits. He struck out two and walked three as well.

IRVING, Texas -West Virginia freshman guard Eron Harris and senior forward Deniz Kilicli were named to the All-Big 12 Men's Basketball honorable mention list, as the league handed out its postseason awards Sunday.
