HENRY, Loyd B. "Pete," 80, of Powhatan Point, OH, went to his heavenly home on March 13, 2013, comforted by his loving family.

Surviving is his devoted wife of 56 years, Dottie, his brother, Ted(Jamie) Henry, his children; Kathy (John) Jura, Crystal Henry (Wayne), Jennifer Henry and David Henry (fiance' Kathy) and five grandchildren; Laura (Greigh) Richardson, Michael (Melissa) Jura, Lindsay Jura, John Ruckman (Tequila) and Jenny Ruckman, along with four great grandsons, Ryder, Landyn, Bradyn and Wesley, two step grandchildren, Lindsay and Marshall, three nephews, Brad (Lisa) Henry, Craig (Lisa) Henry and Scott (Julie) Henry and also his beloved dog, Pepper and special friend, Dot Pearson.

Pete was always busy making life easy and fun. The memories of wonderful times on the creek and later on the river, will always be cherished, from campfires to boating and playing cards, Dad made everything special! Neighbors and family will remember him always patrolling the property on his golf cart. His hobbies included restoring a tractor, two firetrucks and numerous vehicles. He led the Bikers for Santa Club parade, which raised money for Christmas toys for needy children. Pete enjoyed reminiscing with his breakfast pals over the years. He will be missed by his friends at Tom's and Riverside. He was one of a kind!

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 until time of services at 11 a.m. at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Home, 186 Main St., Powhatan Point, OH, with Rev. John Lepp and Pastor David Smith officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Amity United Methodist Church or WeBark Estates.
