RUCKH, Carl G. Jr, 73, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Friday, March 22, 2013 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 4, 1940 in Wheeling, a son of the late Carl Sr. and Anna Koutsky Ruckh.
He was retired from the Laborers Union, Local No. 1149.
Carl loved coaching baseball and softball on Wheeling Island and was an avid WVU fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Skyla Michelle Walker, one brother, William Ruckh, three sisters, Alma Hercules, Dorothy Hanlin, and Sandra Anders, a sister-in-law, Delores Ruckh.
Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia Kulpa Ruckh, four daughters, Tina Ruckh, Lisa Ruckh, Carla (Jimmy) Walker and Mary (Brian) Goodwin, three sons, James Carl Ruckh (Ladonna Farmer), Patrick Carl( Kristen) Ruckh, Logan Patrick Ruckh, two brothers, Richard Ruckh and Donald (Nancy) Ruckh, all of Wheeling; three grandchildren, Brian Goodwin, Jimmy Walker and J.C. Ruckh, many cousins, nieces, nephews and uncountable friends.
Friends received 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March, 27, 2013 with Pastor Darrin Wright officiating.
