VOGLER, Elizabeth C., of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at Hospice House in Cape Coral, Fla.
She was born May 26, 1934, in Wheeling, W.Va., the youngest daughter of Henry L. and Marie Killeen Vogler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong and loving companion, Theresa Ingelido and her sisters, Nancy (Sister Mary Angela), Mary (Henry) Andreas and Irene (James) Dull.
Surviving are her loving and devoted brother, Bud (Margaret Ellen) Vogler; nieces and nephews whom she meant the world to, Linda (Greg) Frede, Terry (Ceil), Gary (Barb), and Larry (Carol) Vogler, Janet (Andreas) Orkoskey, John (Veronica) Andreas, Jeff Dull, and Cindy (Pat) McAfee; in addition, 12 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
She worked for general motors for 35 years in the Pittsburgh zone office before retiring. She was an avid sports fan, supporting her favorite Pittsburgh teams, the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.
Family and friends will be received at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 2-8 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial in SS Simon and Jude Church, Greentree Road, Scott Township, on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, W.Va. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the cemetery chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice House Diplomat, Parkway East, Cape Coral, Fla. 33909; the American Cancer Society, Fort Myers, Fla., 33919; or the Alzheimers Association, Clearwater, Fla., 33762.
