ROTHLISBERGER, Mary Lorentz, age 87, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at OVMC, Wheeling, WV.
She was born July 8, 1925 in Proctor, WV, the daughter of the late Robert W. Edward and Sadie E. Yoho Bohrer.
Mary Lorentz was a retired secretary in the Purchasing Department of Mobay/Bayer; and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in New Martinsville. She was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her focus. She also loved to sing with the Bayer Baritones and loved her Nicholas Circle Card Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Rothlisberger on October 15, 2007; three sisters, Roberta Dallas, Ruth Bohrer and infant Lalah Bohrer; two brothers, Robert "Tex" Bohrer and George (Grace) Howard Bohrer; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Rothlisberger Ison and Lois Dallas; and two brothers-in-law, Jack Snider and Jack Davis.
Survivors include a son, Rob (Jennifer) Rothlisberger of New Martinsville; a daughter, Fritzi L. (Danny) Wade of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Donna Jo (Paul) Cain of Proctor and Deloris Jean (Gene) Emch of New Martinsville; three grandchildren, Dana (Martha) Wade of Las Vegas and Allison and Adam Rothlisberger of New Martinsville; a sister-in-law, Nancy Rothlisberger Davis of New Martinsville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 59 E. Benjamin Drive, New Martinsville, with Pastor David Roberts officiating.
