Frances Amos

AMOS, Frances Pearl, age 60, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of New Martinsville, WV, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, Monroeville, PA.

She was born May 16, 1952 in New Martinsville, the daughter of the late Finley David and Janice Ellen Maine Amos.

Frances was a member of the First Christian Church in New Martinsville. She loved her cat and loved to read.

Survivors include a sister, Connie DeRico Surosky and her husband, Harvey, of Eldersburg, Maryland; a niece, Ellen (Steve) Travis of Hollis, Maine; two nephews, Joseph William DeRico of Elkridge, Maryland and Brad (Amy) Surosky of Sonoma, CA; a great nephew, William David Travis; and a great- niece, Susie Marie Travis.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church, corner of Maple and Locust Streets, New Martinsville, with Rev. Dr. Victor Hunter officiating.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.
