Helen Eberhart

EBERHART, Helen Ann, 87, of Wheeling died Sunday, April 21, 2013, in the Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH.

She was born July 24, 1925, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Steve and Anna Mihoskop Toth.

Helen was an employee of the former Marsh Wheeling Stogie Co., was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, a past president of the PTA, a member of the Christian Mothers and the RWDSI Union.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William "Frank" Eberhart, in 1999; four brothers: John, Joseph, Tom and Rudy Toth; one sister, Rose D'Amico; a son-in-law, Larry Geiser; and a grandson, Jacob Geiser.

Surviving are three children: William Frank Eberhart Jr. and his wife Mary of Wheeling; Linda J. Wymer of Tiltonsville, OH, and Kathy Geiser of Wheeling; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a special friend, Melvin Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 23, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 24 at 11 a.m. at Bishops Chapel, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with Msgr. George Coyne as celebrant.

Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.

A vigil service will be conducted on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
