WHEELING - Wheeling Hospital, and its affiliate, Belmont Community Hospital, recently honored 42 employees who have reached a significant milestone in their health care careers - all of them have provided the hospitals with 25 years of service.
The employees were guests of honor of Ron Violi, the hospital's chief executive officer, and other members of senior staff at a reception at Undo's in Elm Grove. Each received a monetary award and a commemorative Wheeling Hospital comforter.
"Working at the same place for 25 years says a lot. You've been with us through ups and downs, and this speaks volumes about your dedication and loyalty to the hospital, Violi said. "Veterans like you help us move the hospital forward, and your longevity here serves as an inspiration to others."
