CLARK, Ralph R., age 74 of Cameron, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at home.

He was born October 15, 1938 on Cameron Ridge, WV the son of the late Luther H. and Evelyn I. Clark.

Ralph graduated from Moundsville High School, class of 1957, where he ran track. He was baptized at the 4th Street Church of God, Moundsville.

Ralph was the former Marshall County Deputy Assessor for 31 years and a retired employee from Allied Chemical. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Marshall Union Lodge #8 AF & AM, member of the Scottish Rite and Osiris Temple, Wheeling; Little Prince Lodge #79 Knights of Pythias, Moundsville; Earl Francis Post #3 American Legion, NRA and a US Army veteran stationed in France and Turkey from 1961-63. While serving in the Army Ralph toured Germany, Paris & Nancy France, the Mediterranean Sea, England and Switzerland.

Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and vacationing with his grandsons and family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter: Eleanor Jane Clark and one brother: Alfred "Pinky" Clark.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Blake Clark; one daughter: Carrie Jo (John) Hillberry of Pleasant Valley; two grandsons: Brady J. Hillberry of Jacksonville, FL and Rodney A. Hillberry of Cameron; one brother: Paul (Phyllis) Clark of Moundsville; two sisters: Wanda (Charles) Hill of Moundsville and Bonnie (Richard) Kidd of PA; sister-in-law: Doris Jean Clark of Moundsville, numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Ron Stullenbarger and Pastor David Sessums officiating. Knights of Pythias service at 3 p.m.

Private Graveside Services and Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard with the Moundsville Honor Guard and the Masonic Lodge conducting graveside services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Animal Shelter, 37 Animal Shelter Dr., Moundsville, WV 26041 or to a charity of donor's choice.
