KLOUSE, Kenneth Paul, died after a brief illness at the age of 70 in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 12, 2013, while on vacation with his family to celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary.

He was born February 21, 1943 in Newark, NJ, the son of the late Paul Klouse and Alice Swift Klouse. He was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering.

Ken was a retired employee of the Department of Labor, where he traveled all over the world assessing laboratories, and the owner of KPK consulting, a quality assurance consulting firm.

His passions included tennis, skiing, bowling, cards, international travel, working out at the Wellness Center and traveling to Florida every year to watch his beloved Yankees at spring training.

Surviving are his loving wife, Adrienne Petty Klouse; two children, Alys Klouse of Annapolis, MD and Kathleen Klouse of Morgantown, WV; two brothers, Ronald Klouse of Richmond, VA and Robert Klouse of Charlotte, NC; and five nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered as a fun, happy, kind person who loved his family and friends, his work, and his granddogs. He was always there for anyone who needed his help.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 1410 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV, with the Rev. Mark Sietz officiating.
