LITTLE, Ruth Elizabeth Broemsen, 95, of Wheeling, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013.
She was born May 16, 1918 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian Broemsen.
Ruth was a past member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, and a member of Woman of the Church at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was also a past 4-H Leader in Ohio County and retired as a teller from Wheeling Dollar Bank having served 23 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Little; a son, George H. Little; a daughter, Ruth Cunningham; three brothers, Henry, Paul and Harold Broemsen; a sister, Alberta Ball; and a grandson, Matthew Cunningham.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sigrid Little of Benwood, WV; a son-in-law, C.J. Cunningham of Marietta, OH; three grandchildren, Ben Cunningham and his wife, Jaimi, Josh Cunningham and his wife, Heather, and Jan Cunningham; eight great grandchildren, Kelsie, Isabella, Jacob, Mackenzi, Matthew, Carson, Ellie, and Samuel; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday, June 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311). Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
