Marion Zacchini

ZACCHINI, Marion E., 92, of Bellaire died Sunday morning July 14, 2013, at the Country Club Retirement Center. Marion was born in Bellaire, January 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Paul and Lena Domenick DePaulis. She was a retired nurse at OVMC, a member of the Shadyside Church of Christ and served as a nurse in the U.S. Army near the end of World War II.

In addition to her parents Marion was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Zacchini in December of 2008, and also an infant brother.

She is survived by her children, Michael Zacchini (Jean), of Dumfries, VA, and Paula Durden (Brian), of Peachtree City, GA. Marion is also survived by a six grandchildren, one brother, Paul DePaulis (Betty) of Bellaire, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday, July 16, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 37th St. Bellaire, where services will be held Wednesday at noon with interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain. Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct military rites at 4 p.m.
