2013 Marshall County Fair: Bigger and Better Than Ever

July 19, 2013
The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

It is time once again for the Marshall County Fair! This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever thanks to our generous sponsors!

There have once again been many improvements made to make our grounds more comfortable and attractive to our visitors. Thanks to a generous donation from Williams Ohio Valley Midstream, we have erected a new grandstand on the grounds. These state of the art grandstands are safe, comfortable, and sure to make your track experience one to remember. Additionally, the "stage trailer" was replaced with a modern building to house our pageant contestants and entertainers in style. Expansions continue in the barn areas to accommodate an ever-growing number of livestock exhibits. As time passes, we will continue to strive for the best facilities to house our exhibits, as well as to provide comfort for our patrons.

The 2013 Marshall County Fair will have something for all ages. Traditional favorites, such as livestock and horse shows, truck and tractor pulls, horse pulls, and the Queen's pageants will be paired with these exciting on-grounds shows: EZ Ride Bull Races, Great Lakes Timber Show, and Kurt James' Dueling Rodeo Bulls. This year's entertainment features the crowd pleaser, Joe Diffie on Saturday night, as well as the up and coming country star, Tyler Farr on stage Tuesday night. Also, for those of you interested in being the entertainer, we offer both a talent contest and Marshall County Idol.
