TOUPS, Betty Lou, age 79, of New Martinsville, WV, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV.
She was born July 24, 1933 in Burnsville, WV, a daughter of the late Roy William and Mary Frances Knight Riffle.
Betty was a retired glass worker at the former Corning Glass Company; and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Martinsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Toups; two brothers, Bud and Bob Riffle; and a sister, Nancy Satterfield.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanie (Tim) Booher of Jacksonburg, WV, Jackie (Rick) Bucher of Reader, WV and Julie (Randy) Brant of Dickson, TN; three brothers, Benjamin (Peggy) Riffle, Barry (Bobbie) Riffle and Thomas (Bonnie) Riffle, all of Fairmont, WV; a sister, Diana (Terry) Coffman, also of Fairmont, 10 grandchildren, Brandi Murray, A. J. Meeks, Jr., Kelsey Meeks and her fiance Frankie Simons, David J. Booher, Audrey Booher, Ryan Bucher, McKenzie Bucher, Megan Bucher, Aliesa Canterbury and Tyler Canterbury; 4 great grandchildren, Aleeah Fletcher, Lakyn Fletcher, Izzie Murray and Jaxon Murray; and a special nephew, Scott Coffman.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Fr. John McDonough officiating.
Entombment to follow in Northview Mausoleum, New Martinsville.
