CZAHOROSKI, Stanley (Stush) Stephen Sr., of Martins Ferry, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Wednesday July 24, 2013 at the age of 74.
He was born December 29, 1938 in Blaine, Ohio, the son of the late John and Victoria (Stempien) Czahoroski.
He graduated from Bridgeport High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel's Martins Ferry plant, and a Catholic by faith.
He was active in Boy Scouts and the Martins Ferry Civics for many years while his sons were growing up, always volunteering in the activities of his children.
His talents and skills were so numerous and his life was completely devoted to his family. He was our strength and will be forever loved and missed.
In addition to his parents, Stush was preceded in death by his son, Stanley Stephen Czahoroski Jr., and a brother, John Czahoroski.
Surviving is his loving wife of 48 years, Janie (Hensel) Czahoroski; his son, Brian Czahoroski; his grandchildren: Cassandra Nichole (William) Krupa, Stanley Czahoroski III and Katelynn Czahoroski; and a precious new great-grandson, Ayden Krupa, who brightened his life this past year. Also surviving is his sister, Phyllis Czahoroski; sister-in-law Josie (John) Czahoroski; his brothers, Frank (Connie) Czahoroski and Edward (Elsie) Czahoroski; and several nieces and nephews.
According to the family's wishes, the service will be at the convenience of the family with the Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, is assisting the family.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
