MILLER, Agnes L. Diehl, 84, of Wheeling, WV, died Wednesday July 31, 2013 at home.

She was born February 4, 1929 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Elmer and Ann Heffron Diehl.

She was a retired employee of Mt. St. Joseph Convent, Wheeling, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Miller; a son, Thomas Miller; a son-in-law, Christopher Winiesdorffer; three brothers, Charles, Thomas and John Diehl; three sisters, Catherine Diehl, Mary Swanick and Anna Kohler.

Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy (Anthony) Hewitt, Patricia L. Miller, and Mary A. (Wayne) Knollinger, all of Wheeling; three sons, John J. (Kathy) Miller of Pottsville, PA, Donald F. Miller of Wheeling and Peter A. (Jennifer) Miller of Moundsville, WV; two sisters, Nora Jacqueline Hunt of Wheeling and Dolores (Dan) Grezieban of MD; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday August 3, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling, with Rev. Gary Naegele as celebrant.
