ESTEP, Lewis A., 85, of Third St., New Martinsville, died Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Sistersville Center.
He was born May 13, 1928, in Proctor, WV, the son of the late Sylvester and Helena Hawkey Estep.
He was a retired fork truck driver from Ormet Corporation; a Catholic by Faith; and an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Regina Ward and Kathleen Montgomery; and a brother Bernard Estep.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Wanda Witschey Estep; three sons Steven M. (Sherry Hill) Estep of Friendly, Terry E. (Michelle) Estep of Paden City, James A. (Jo) Estep of Proctor, a brother Guy (Anna Jean) Estep of Paden City; a sister Dorothy Maury of New Martinsville; five grandchildren Chris (Jenn) Estep, Scott Estep, Daniel (PJ) Estep, Eric (Stephanie White) Estep, Kim Estep; seven great-grandchildren Alex Estep, Emmalee Estep, Katelyn Estep, Madeline Estep, Conor Estep, Dylan Estep, Lincoln Estep; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville.
