CONLEY, Zola (Epler), 99, (11 days short of her 100th Birthday), of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on August 21, 2013, at Sienna Woods, Wintersville, OH.
Zola was born on September 2, 1913, in Walker, WV. She was the daughter of the late Archibald and Myrtle (Cox) Epler.
Zola was a life member of the Wellsburg United Methodist Church. She spent her time as a communion steward, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school. She worked as a telephone operator at C&P. Many will remember Zola for her love of the church and her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Zola was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Conley; three sons, John, Richard, and Ronald Conley; and a brother, Delford Epler.
Zola is survived by her loving daughter, Carol (Samuel) Locascio of Follansbee, WV; seven grandchildren, Robin, Julie, Kelli, Sherri, Karyn, Craig, and Scott; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 25, 2013, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. and again on Monday, August 26, 2013, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV, (304) 737-3551, with Reverend Phil Dukes, officiating.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
