September 3, 2013
dsp The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

After 20 minutes of both teams missing several scoring opportunities, Oak Glen sophomore Mollie Williams broke into the scoring column on a corner kick. Five minutes later Devon Temple found the back of the net of an Emilie Bodo assist giving the Golden Bears (2-2-0) a 2-0 lead entering halftime.

Midway through the second half, Indian Creek's Karli Celestin scored on a free kick to cut the lead to 2-1. Oak Glen came right back as Paige Freeman fed Gabie Lemely a ball in the middle of the box for a 3-1 Oak Glen lead. A few minutes later Lemely scored her second goal of the night, this one unassisted.
