The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

CHIRICO, Joyce (Talbert), age 72, entered into God's loving arms on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

Born in Wheeling, W.Va. on February 5, 1941, she graduated from Saint Joseph's Academy High School in 1958. Thereafter, Joyce worked for the U.S. Government into her early 20s. She worked for 30 years as an executive secretary for tidewater real estate developers of Hackensack, N.J. until retiring in 2012.

Her extended family consisted of two extremely close people, Lili Payne, her close friend of 65 years and a cousin Phylis Howard who was like a sister to her.

Joyce's true calling and passion was raising, loving and guiding her four children with her always positive personality and her unconditional love and support. Nothing was more important to her than her children.

Joyce was an avid reader of fiction literature and non-fiction literature and was a profound writer. She was a energetic Yankees, football Giants and Steelers fan.

Joyce is survived by a son and three daughters, Ben Chirico of Tobyhanna, Pa.; Gina Bozic of Tannersville, Pa.; Victoria Vinas of Tobyhanna, Pa.; and Carla Kenney of Saddlebrook, N.J. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren who loved and adored her.

Services will be private at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Sterling Road, Mt. Pocono, PA 18360 with cremation thereafter.
