He was suffering from several gunshot wounds to his arms and upper body. The victim was taken by a fire department ambulance to Wheeling Hospital and was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The victim had been staying at a residence at 22 Vermont St. on the south end of Wheeling Island.

After summoning an ambulance for the victim, whose name has not been released, officers noticed bullet holes in the door at 22 Vermont St. There they questioned several people including witnesses who claimed to have seen the shooting. It is believed an argument precipitated the shooting.

Police said they are familiar with Kyle and caution the public to call police headquarters at 304-234-3664 if anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts.
