Pain Specialist Joins Hospital Staff

WHEELING - Wheeling Hospital has announced that Dr. Adam Tune recently joined its staff and is accepting patients at the Center for Pain Management.

Tune is board certified in interventional pain management and anesthesiology.

"Our goal is to reduce the patient's pain and thereby enhance their quality of life. We utilize proven multidisciplinary, minimally invasive interventional pain management techniques," said Tune.

Tune received his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. His residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in categorical anesthesiology had a clinical focus on pain medicine and regional anesthesia. He completed a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at UPMC.

Prior to coming to Wheeling Hospital, Tune was medical director of the Division of Pain Medicine at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh.
