Boys’ Soccer: Linsly Boys Shut out Weir, Improve to 3-4

WEIRTON - The goals were hard to come by but Linsly was able to strike for one in each half in a 2-0 victory against Weir on Thursday night.

Westen Mead had a goal in the first half that turned out to be the game-winner and Jae Wook Ahn added a second-half goal to help the Cadets (3-4).

Robert Felton had an assist for the Cadets (13-4) and goalkeeper Daniel Truong had four saves and was credited with the shutout.

Weir keeper Matt Tenaglio had six saves for the the Red Riders (6-7-2).
