KOSKY, Peggy Bernice, 80 of Bellaire, Ohio, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Teresa Nichols, in Winchester, Virginia.
She was born September 23, 1933 in Beech Bottom, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William Oliver "Shorty"and Elsie Beasley Craft.
Peggy was a homemaker and a hostess waitress for the former Bridgeport Eagles and a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire and the Bridgeport Eagles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. "Jack" Kosky on March 9, 2009, a daughter, Devora Lynn Baker and a son, Edward Andrew Kosky. Also, two sisters, Wilba Jean Kosky and Dorothy Lee Palmer and two brothers, William R. "Russ" and Wallace M. Craft.
Surviving are her children, Jackie (Ron) Materkoski of Bellaire, Ohio, John Eric (Mary) Kosky of Wheeling, West Virginia, Teresa Robin (Keith) Nichols of Winchester, Virginia and Matthew Glenn Kosky of Oldsmar, Florida and daughter-in-law, Debbie Kosky of Bellaire, Ohio. There are also eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Heusel officiating. Inurnment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
