BEHRENS, Louise Kiger Bonar, 101, of Wheeling passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013.

She was born October 20, 1912, on the Reed Farm in Ohio County, daughter of the late Cephas and Hannah Kiger. She retired after 27 years as the switchboard operator and mail clerk for West Liberty State College. For over 50 years she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and past matron, Chapter No. 51 and Bethany Chapter No. 74. She was also a member of Triadelphia United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Willis E. Bonar; her second husband, Lloyd E. Behrens; two sisters, Mary M. Creighton and Ida M. Stollar; and six brothers, twin Louis, William, John, Irvin, and twins Sherman and infant Furman Kiger.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine L. Billie (Robert) of St. Ignatius, MT; a granddaughter, Tammy Miller of St. Ignatius; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Miller of Pablo, MT; two great- great-granddaughters, Cecily and Paige; several nieces and nephews; and beloved friends throughout the Wheeling area.

Friends will be received Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery.
