RASKE, Mary C. (Kacor), 87, of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born March 25, 1926 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late John and Stella Partyka Kacor.
She was a former employee of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, a former member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church and Ladies Guild, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, a member of St. Alphonsus and St. Michael Christian Mothers, Wheeling Hospital and the Congregation of St. Joseph Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother, Eugene Kacor; a son-in-law, Steven H. Fisher.
Surviving are her children, Judith Ann Fisher of Vienna, WV, Katherine (Bernie) Hall of East Brady, PA, Teresa (Eric) Chamberlain of Glen Dale, WV, David M. Raske of Charlotte, NC; a brother, Ted T. (Gretchen) Kacor of New Martinsville, WV; five grandchildren, Lisa Fisher Plaga (David), Christopher Fisher, Micah Chamberlain, Tannar Chamberlain, Kelsey Curtis; two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Eva Plaga; nieces and nephews, Becky (Gerald) Kooser, Karen (Bill) Stewart, Debbie (Percy) Talkington, John (Mindy) Kacor, Gretchen (Rob) Fauber, Tom Kacor; a cousin, Carol Skvarka-Kingery of Calcutta, OH; many great-nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 3:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, with Rev. Jeremiah McSweeney as celebrant.
Entombment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
