WHEELING - The Wheeling Nailers have announced three transactions, which all take effect immediately.
Wheeling received defenseman Dustin Stevenson from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, while forward Anton Zlobin and defenseman Harrison Ruopp have both been assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Stevenson, 24, began the season with the Nailers, and had terrific success on both ends of the ice, while playing on the blueline. In nine games during the course of the first half of November, Dustin dished out five assists, while posting an impressive +9 rating. The Gull Lake, SK native had his most productive game with Wheeling on Nov. 8, when he had three assists and a +5 rating in a 6-2 victory against the Fort Wayne Komets. The fourth-year pro has appeared in four games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Zlobin, 20, appeared in one game with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton before making his way to Wheeling, where he made an immediate impact offensively. Anton recorded three assists in his first ECHL game on Nov. 15, and went on to find the scoresheet in six of his nine games with the Nailers, totaling four goals, five assists, and nine points. The rookie forward from Moscow, Russia had his most impressive stretch from November 23-30, when he lit the lamp in four of five games, including the contest's opening goal three times.
Ruopp, 20, made his professional debut with the Nailers on Nov. 14, before picking up his first point two nights later on the 16th, as Wheeling completed a three-game sweep of the Elmira Jackals. Harrison tallied one more assist during his time with the team, as he finished his nine-game stint with two helpers and 21 penalty minutes. The Zehner, SK native also dropped the gloves for the first time in his pro career on Nov. 23, when he duked it out with Fort Wayne's William Lacasse.
The Nailers posted identical 8-0-1 records when Zlobin and Ruopp were in the lineup.
Wheeling continues its nine-game homestand at 7 on Friday night.
The Nailers also announced post game parties with Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. The Wheeling Island Nailer Nights, will debut following the game Friday night.

Wheeling Island Nailer Nights will take place on Dec. 6, Jan. 3t, Feb. 14, March 28, and April 4, all at Club 21, in the showroom, at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, following the Nailers games on those evenings. Fans will be granted free admission into Club 21 with a ticket from that evening's game, which will allow them to meet and greet members of the Nailers organization, $3 draft beers in a special Nailers cup, and promotional giveaways.
