Residents and business owners concerned about Wheeling's future may have only one more chance to weigh in on the issue.
A new comprehensive plan for the city - essentially a roadmap for future development - is being prepared. As part of the process, public meetings are being held to get opinions on progress in Wheeling.
What may be the last of those meetings is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at West Virginia Northern Community College's B&O Building.
Rest assured, city officials will take the public's comments into account in writing the new comprehensive plan.
If you believe you have good ideas for Wheeling - or, for that matter, constructive criticism to offer - we encourage you to attend the meeting.
