SHADYSIDE - Zach Frizzi recorded a double-double with career-highs of 34 points and 13 rebounds in Shadyside's 82-67 victory against visiting Monroe Central in boys' high school basketball action Wednesday night.

"I had the hot hand and my teammates got me the ball," the left-handed Frizzi said. "It was good for me to get the rebounds and get the ball out to the other players. We played well as a team. This is a good win for us."

During the fourth quarter, Frizzi was 6-for-8 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the foul line.

Three of the other Tigers (5-5) starters reached double figures. Shane Johnson netted 16, while Luke Nardo and John-Michael Schuetz evenly divided 20. Travis Fulton, the fifth starter, barely missed with eight points, but contributed six rebounds and six assists.

Bryan Duffy had a team-high 24 points for the Seminoles (8-2), including 17 in the second half. Chandler Kuhn registered 14 points, Zach Jorris added 12 and Levi Brown 10. Brown hauled down eight rebounds and charted six steals.

Shadyside led 43-28 off the glass behind Frizzi and Fulton. Nardo also had six boards and six assists.
