The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

BRIDGEPORT - Shadyside got over the .500 mark Tuesday night with a revenge-filled, 66-53, triumph against Bridgeport in boys' high school basketball action inside John J. Havlicek Gymnasium.

The Tigers (7-6) led 55-51 midway through the fourth quarter when they turned up the defensive pressure and forced five straight turnovers by the reeling Bulldogs (6-5) on Frank Baxter Court.

John-Michael Schuetz nailed four late charity tosses to finish with a game-high 18 points, which he shared with Tigers teammate Shane Johnson. Zach Frizzi had 10.

Parker Dyson, despite sitting out the entire second quarter, led the Bulldogs with 15 points.
