Jeannette Kalkreuth

KALKREUTH, Jeannette Williams Rosen, 94, of Guilford, CT, formerly of Wheeling, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, in the Apple Rehab Nursing Home.

She was born September 29, 1919, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Richard T. and Helen Blanche Black Williams.

Mrs. Kalkreuth was a graduate of Rayen High School in Youngstown, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

She was a member of the Lee Hartlieb Unit, the Women's Club, the AARP, the Daughters of Nile and the Oriental Shrines. Jeannette was the one person at the nursing home that everyone loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Rosen, Jr in 1954 and her second husband, Eugene A. Kalkreuth in 2003; two brothers, Nelson Williams and Thomas B. Williams.

Surviving are a son, J. Nelson Kalkreuth and his wife, Janice of Guilford, CT; a sister, Amanda W. Kesar of Key West, FL; and three grandsons, Christopher, Brian and his financee, Leigha Blake, and Gregory Kalkreuth; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling (304-232-2732) with the Reverend Judy Fisher officiating.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
