Timothy Henry, 29, was sentenced to 1-15 years in prison after pleading guilty for possession of a controlled substance and the delivery of morphine.
Henry entered into a plea agreement Friday in Marshall County Circuit Court under Judge Mark A. Karl.
Henry previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, but decided to withdraw the not-guilty pleas Friday.
Henry was charged for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in August 2012 after police found oxycodone and marijuana in his possession during a traffic stop on Tomlinson Avenue.
Police later found text messages on Henry's cellphone of his intent to sell the narcotics.
Henry was later charged with delivery of a controlled substance in October 2012 after attempting to sell morphine.
