Kudos to Desert Tech, a Utah firearms manufacturing company that turned down a $15 million deal by refusing to sell high-tech arms to Pakistan. Their reason for turning down such a lucrative offer: the weapons could be used against U.S. troops. It's too bad that all of our defense contractors don't have the same ethics.
Boos to the wannabe lawyer with a conviction for child pornography. He was turned down by the Kentucky State Supreme Court following his application to take the bar exam. The subject, Hamilton Smith, was said "to have used his law school attendance as a redemptive and rehabilitated effort while owning up his criminal conduct."
I have had numerous law enforcement encounters with sexual predators and the majority were repeat offenders. Rehabilitation just doesn't work.
