Sunoco Robbed At Gunpoint

The Sunoco Gas Station in Bridgeport was robbed Monday morning gun point.

According to Bridgeport Police Chief Andrew Klotz, a man walked into the Sunoco Station wearing a long sleeve hooded military color jacket at 2:45 a.m. Monday. He had a black mask covering his face. He was described as being stocky build and standing at about 5'9". He appeared to be white.

According to Klotz, the man had a handgun and demanded money. Once given a undisclosed amount of money, he left the station on foot before driving off in a vehicle that was parked in the Papa John's parking lot.

On Monday, officers reviewed surveillance footage from the station, as well as surrounding businesses.
