STULL, Bernadine L., 93, of Paden City, W.Va. died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Genesis New Martinsville.
Bernadine was born August 5, 1920 in Gamble Run, Wetzel County, W.Va. daughter of the late Mont and Amanda Cordery Long.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sistersville, W.Va., employee of Paden City Pottery, The Cambridge Pottery and Corning Glass Works, Councilwoman for Paden City, honorary member of the New Martinsville Emergency Squad, Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 81 and served four years with her husband, who was the Sheriff of Wetzel County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Ora E. Stull; sisters, Eloise Long Blazy, Virginia Long Malone, Leota Long, Ruth Long, Violet Long Kimble and Ethel Long Koerber; foster brother, John Childers and two great grandchildren, Gabel Eston Stull and Jason Foreman.
She is survived by three children, Robert E. (Judy) Stull of Greenwood, Ind., Mary F. (Ray) Suire of Paden City, W.Va. and William "Bill" A. (Elaine) Stull of Paden City, W.Va.; three brothers, Edward (Monzell) Long, Bradford Long (friend, Madge Clark) and William F. (Dorothy) Long; nine grandchildren, William A. Stull II, Timothy (Judy) Stull, Scott (Natalie) Stull, Todd (Misty) Stull, Teresa Jemison (Glenn) Soileau, Tamera (Lance) Broussard, Kimberly Jemison (Dwayne) Foreman, John Theodore Suire and Heather Ann (Chris) Suire Hale; seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City where service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014 with Pat Stillwagoner and Chuck Mosser co-officiating.
Ladies Auxiliary Post 81 will conduct a service at 6 p.m. on Friday evening.
