BALLEW, James Edward, 65, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away February 7, 2014, at NW Texas Hospital in Amarillo, TX.
He was born October 7, 1948 in Harrisville, WV, son of the late James Clinton and Mary Rose Ballew.
James was in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years, served in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He has been a truck driver for over 40 years. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed greatly.
Surviving are his wife Annie Ballew; his four children Christy McGiveron of Big Bear, CA, Steve Travis of Ellenboro, WV, Angela Dolphin and Shane Ballew, both of Palm Harbor, FL; two sisters Diane Worden of Banning, CA and Cynthia Dunn of Wheeling, WV; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews The service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Kepner Funeral Home-Burke Chapel 2101 Warwood Ave, Wheeling (304-277- 2722.)
