BRENNAN, Lois A., 84, of Wheeling, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
Lois was born September 12, 1929, in Erie, Pa., a daughter of the late Walter Espy and Marguerite (Graham) Anderson.
She was a retired secretary for COMAV Management and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Wheeling. She was also a member of the Wheeling Bridge Club, and a local real estate agent.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Curtze; and son-in-law, Raymond Davies.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald J. Brennan; six children, Leslie B. Givens and her husband, Robert of Benwood, W.Va., Liz A. Fleming and her husband, Mike of Glenside, Pa., Michael G. Brennan and his wife, Tina of Warminster, Pa., Kate Davies of Quakertown, Pa., Anne Schuck and her husband, Todd of Warrington, Pa. and Guy P. Brennan of Perkasie, Pa.; a sister, Mitzi Grad of Sandusky, Ohio; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The Brennan family would like to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for the kindness and excellent care that their mother received.
Friends will be received from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street , Wheeling.
Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gary Naegele as celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling .
