STEUBENVILLE-Fred Heatherington's club made the most of six hits as it improved to 4-2. Big Red's cause was aided by 10 walks and several costly Golden Bears fielding miscues.
After spotting Oak Glen a 1-0 lead, Big Red took the upper hand for good, scoring twice in the second. Lucas Herrington's single drove home Kai McClurg, who was hit by a pitch. Devin Ferguson recorded the first of his three RBI on a fielder's choice, Branden Jones coming around to score.
Jones scored again in the third after he drew his second walk. He advanced on a pass ball and touched home thanks to an Oak Glen throwing error on Herrington's fielder's choice.
