WHEELING POLICE DEPARTMENT
At 12:30 a.m. Friday, police arrested Garrett Thomas of Pittsburgh for DUI, possession of marijuana, speeding, no operator's license and expired registration.
At 1:30 a.m. Friday, police arrested Martin Leehr, 37, of McMurray, Pa., for DUI after he allegedly drove the wrong way on the Interstate 70 ramp at the Oglebay Park exit.
At 5:44 a.m. Friday, officers arrested Lee Carter of Cleveland for possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine. They also arrested a passenger in Carter's vehicle, Tawana Bell, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, for a concealed carry violation involving a knife.
BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
At 10:40 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a residence on Barnesville-Hendrysburg Road, for a domestic incident.
At 9:47 p.m. Thursday, a Colerain area resident called and said someone was on their property in a beat-up car. Deputies responded and found a 2004 Hyundai Accent and took the male to the post for a test. He was then brought to the sheriff's office to wait for a ride to his residence.
At 9:48 p.m. Thursday, the principal at Union Local Schools called and said a 16-year-old male made threats to a bus driver and said he was going to stab someone. He was brought to the office and had no weapon. His probation officer was notified and will file charges. The juvenile was then taken to Sargus Center.
On Thursday, Ronald L. Yarchak, 46, of 224 W. Maple St., Harville, Ohio, was arrested for a parole violation.
On Thursday, Scott A. Crall, 25, of Belmont Street, Bellaire, was arrested for passing bad checks. No bond was set.
ST. CLAIRSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
On Thursday, Franklin J. Reed, 23, of 206 Maple St., St. Clairsville, was arrested for failure to appear. Bond was set at $189.
MARTINS FERRY POLICE DEPARTMENT
On Thursday, Curtis L. Cunningham, 29, of 906 Hickory St., Martins Ferry, was arrested for domestic violence.
On Thursday, Shavona R. Allen, 19, of 623 Columbia Ave., Martins Ferry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. No bond was set.
