ULLOM, Janice Lee Rhoades, 62, of West Alexander, PA, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at her home.
She was born July 29, 1951, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Frank and Martha Black Rhoades.
Janice was a retired rural carrier for the West Alexander Postal Service and a Methodist by faith. She dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren and her extended family.
Janice loved to deer hunt and was a member of the West Alexander Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie C. Ullom whom she married January 23, 1970, and who died May 2, 2006; son-in-law, Dennis Hartzell; two brothers-in-law, Hughie Lee Ullom and Kenneth Clutter; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Ullom.
Surviving are loving companion, George "Buck" Ritchea of West Alexander, PA.; her children, William Robert Ullom and his fiancee, Tammy Fisher of Triadelphia, WV, Michael Shane Ullom and his wife, Kimberly of Moundsville, WV; a step-daughter, Tracey Ullom Hartzell and her companion, Brad Lucas of Triadelphia; grandchildren, Craig and Caitlin Ullom, Kayla and Kyle Hartzell and Madison and Abigail Namath; two sisters, Connie Clutter and Sandy Johnson and her husband, Art; a brother, Bill Rhoades and his wife, Jackie and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311) where service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Cindy Murphy and Reverend Lisa Fox officiating.
Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, WV.
